Policy, Procedure and Payments

Tranquil Vibe Massage & Wellness, hereinafter will be referred to as, "TVMW"

ALL SERVICES REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO RESERVE APPOINTMENT DATE AND TIME.

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

TRAVEL FEE OVER 25 MILES          Travel is ONLY available when medically necessary (assessed when destination is chosen)

 

Financial Responsibility & Cancellation Fee

  • Appointments may be scheduled at least 4 hours in advance. Two weeks in advance for Corporate/Social events. 

  • A deposit is required to reserve requested date and time for ALL services. Deposits are non-refundable.

  • For cancellations or to reschedule, a 24 hour notice from date and time of appointment is needed.

  • We understand that situations may happen. If within your control please call to inform TVMW that you will not be attending your session. If the client is a "no show" the credit card on file will be assessed a charge in the full amount of session. "Same day" cancellations, a 50% fee will be assessed to credit card on file.

  • If a partial payment was made prior, the remaining balance must be paid in full after conclusion of session.

  • Non Sufficient  Check/Credit Card Fee: If, for any reason a check/credit card payment is returned, a $35 will be applied to clients account. The client will not be able to continue service with TVMW until is fee is satisfied.

  • TVMW reserves the lawful right to pursue any nonpayment of services rendered to the client. Non-payment of services may be reported to a debt collector. If debt is not resolved, TVMW reserves the right to pursue further legal actions, This may result in recovering lost compensation through Small Claims Court.

Forms

  • A Client Intake Form must be completed prior to appointment day and time for new clients and for current clients annually. These form are confidential and only viewed by a staffing member of TVMW. 

  • Covid-19 or Coronavirus forms must be completed before any services can be performed. Thereafter, forms must be updated every 3 months. or as needed by the massage therapist.

Confidentiality 

  • ​We respect the privacy of each and every client. Any information provided by the client  is confidential and will not be released without their consent.

  • Client confidential information can be released to a medical professional ONLY once the client has completed a Release form. A release form can be requested from a staff member or sent to clients by email on file.

  • By law, TVMW MUST release any confidential information requested by any law enforcement official

 

Medical Conditions

  • The massage and bodywork that is received is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation, stress reduction and the relief of muscular tension. 

  • Massage will not be performed in replacement of any medical examination, diagnosis or treatment. Please refer to your medical doctor for any specific condition which requires medical attention or treatment.

  • The client must keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions. It is the responsibility of the client to inform the massage therapist of any medical treatment currently being taking and provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc.

 

Client/Therapist Personal Boundaries

  • During you session, you are able to undress to your comfort level, refuse any massage method or stop the massage at any time.

  • The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. 

  • Any illicit and sexually suggestive remarks and/or advances made by the client will result in termination of the session and the client remains responsible for payment of the scheduled appointment.

 

Respect For The Client 

  • Here at TranquilVibes, we want our clients to feel comfortable during their session. The client is free to express concerns such as pressure adjustment, music volume, extra blanket etc.

 

Inclement Weather

At TVMW safety of our employees and clients is our main priority. So during times of inclement weather, TVMW will assess inclement weather conditions. Once a final decision is decided clients will be contacted to rescheduled their appointment.

Hygienic Process

In these times of Covid-19, we have been encouraged to re-access how we maintain the cleanliness of our massage equipment. Before massaging our client(s), our massage table, bolster and face cradle will be properly disinfected. We will then wash/sanitize our hands so we can apply the sheets and any decor that is part of the setup. We will then wash our hands and elbows and begin the massage. After the massage is completed we will again wash our hands/elbows and disinfect all of the massage equipment and any decor used.

 

In Home Medical Massage

At TVMW, we do provide mobile massage when it is medically necessary. This has to be confirmed by your doctor.

  • Client must provide space large enough to set up and work around the massage table (approximately 4x 8). In some instances massages can be adjusted according to the need of the client, so a massage table may not be necessary.

  • During in home visits our therapist have to carry supplies to ensure that the clients needs are met. So TVMW ask that the client please provide convenient parking for our therapist at time of visit.

  • Client is responsible for any paid parking
